Hi, I’m Gary, the founder of GrenoTech Consultancy.

I have over 25 years of experience working in IT and operations across the education sector, supporting nurseries, primary schools, secondary schools and sixth forms. Throughout my career I’ve held roles including ICT Strategy Manager and Regional Operations Manager, giving me a strong understanding of both the technical and operational side of running effective systems.

I started GrenoTech to provide practical, friendly technology support for schools, small businesses and individuals who want reliable help without the jargon. My focus is always on making technology simpler, more secure and easier to use in everyday life and work.

My work ranges from IT support and laptop repairs to Microsoft 365 administration, MIS support (including SIMS and Bromcom), data and process improvement, and helping organisations get more value from the systems they already have. I also enjoy helping people build confidence with technology through training and one-to-one support.

Alongside running GrenoTech, I’ve also served as a school governor, which gives me valuable insight into the strategic challenges schools face and how technology can support teaching, learning and operations.

Whether it’s fixing a laptop, improving a system, or helping someone feel more confident using technology, my goal is simple: to make tech straightforward and stress-free.
